Food Donations
Many groups and organizations want to help their local food bank but don’t know where to start. If you are part of a school, church, business, service organization or community group, why not consider running a food drive? Food drives can be a great way to build team spirit and learn more about your community's needs. Simple steps to running a successful food drive: 1. Decide on the start and finish dates. In our experience, longer is not necessarily better. 2. Read the Most Needed Food Items page on our website, since our priorities may change. 3. Contact us through our website email. That's it, you are ready! Refer to our Most Needed Items list below. For perishable food items, please email or call to arrange delivery. Please note that we do not accept items past their expiration date, or three months past the Best Before date. Unfortunately we are not able to accept homemade food items, including preserves. |
